The public is invited so bring the entire neighborhood for a nice evening of musical entertainment. Students should be at the school by 6:45.

Honor Choir to sing at Capitol Building in March!!

We will travel to Boise on Tuesday, March 6, to perform in the Rotunda Concerts at the state capitol building. We will sing at 12:30. Watch the website and the March newsletter for further details!

Fourth Grade Recorder Karate!!

All fourth grade students are beginning their recorder unit this week. The students will participate in an incentive program called “Recorder Karate” for which they will earn “belts” for testing and passing a series of songs. The top honor is to earn a “black belt” which is earned upon passing the test for Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” (the ninth song). The “black belt” students will perform at an assembly. It would be helpful if you would encourage your fourth grade student to practice and try for the black belt. The program will continue until spring break. If you have any questions call me at school or send me an email! Thanks for your support.

Musically yours,

Mrs. LaGrone
