Buhl High School will be hosting an “Auto Art Show” in the BHS Cafeteria on the evening of Tuesday, May 16 from 5pm – 9pm. The show will be held in conjunction with the BMS/BHS Music Department’s “Pops” concert at 7pm. The show will be put on by BHS art teacher, Melissa Allen, with help from juniors Alexis Alonso and Carlos Pantoja as part of their senior projects.
The theme of the show is all things “auto” related! This show will be dedicated to Brad Lancaster and the Buhl High School Auto Tech Program. EVERYONE (staff, students and community members of all ages!) is welcome and encouraged to submit art for the show!! Anyone who wants to submit art has the option to show or sell their work with all monies going to the BHS Auto Tech Program. Donations will also be accepted. There is no “contest” element to the show – just an opportunity for all ages to share their auto-related art with the community and raise money for a good cause…in honor of a good dude!
You can pick up guidelines and entry forms or drop off your works of art at each Buhl school building before 3:30 on Monday, May 15. Any work that is not sold or donated will be returned to the artist. Guidelines and entry forms can be found here.
Come and celebrate Brad Lancaster and his Auto Tech legacy, along with some great music and art on May 16th!
