A Surprise from the Staff of Senator Risch's Office

Surplus Book Program

Staff from Senator Risch's office surprised Popplewell Elementary with a box of reading materials for their library. The books were a donation from the Surplus Book Program through the Library of Congress. The program has available at all times, for donation to eligible organizations and institutions, surplus books which are not needed for the library's own uses. The guiding principle behind the program is to help build library collections at schools, colleges, universities, museums and public libraries around the country.
