December 1, 2021
Greetings to Popplewell Families and Buhl Community,
Welcome to December! I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with food, family, and friends! Our goal for December is to keep the students on task as much as possible in the coming weeks. It will be challenging, but we got this!
November came and went in a blink of an eye. I want to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate our wonderful Popplewell staff.
I genuinely feel privileged to work with a dynamic and dedicated group of educators and understand everyone goes above and beyond for our students. I could not do my job without Popplewell’s fantastic staff. Finally, I am inspired and honored to work with our exceptional students. They impress me daily with their hard work, honesty, and kindness. Being in the presence of my staff and students brings joy and purpose to my life.
As the holiday season is in full swing and families are looking forward to December 20, 2021, the holiday break, it is essential to continue to be thankful. Gratitude is a gift. When we allow ourselves to look critically at our lives through the lens of gratitude and focus on the many reasons we are grateful, life gets better, we feel better, and we know we are blessed.
Finally, I would like to give a shout-out to our TRIBE parent group. I am grateful for their dedication to our school, students, and staff. Also, please check out our Popplewell Facebook page and the buhlschools.org website. There are some great pictures, our newsletter, and much more. Lastly, Mrs. Henkelman and Mrs. Williams’ K-kids and the Kiwanis team up for a canned food drive from November 29, 2021, through December 9, 2021.
I hope everyone enjoys a safe and relaxing holiday break and takes time to create meaningful memories with family and loved ones. Have a great holiday season.
Warmly,
Cynthia Cooper
Principal
