PES Math Olympics 2020
Popplewell Elementary School is getting ready to kick-off their annual Math Olympics school-wide fundraiser. All students, kindergarten through 5th grade can participate. Money raised will stay at Popplewell to fund events, fill needs, and provide activities that enrich your child's education.
There will be grand prizes awarded for the top three students who bring in the most money school-wide. Also, the top ten earners, kindergarten through 2nd and 3rd through 5th, will receive a prize. Additionally, we have a school-wide carnival during the last week of school to show our appreciation to all the students who participate in this fundraiser.
Math Olympics Timeline:
March 9th
Math Olympics Opening Ceremony Assembly
Pledge Packets sent home
Students get pledges from relatives and friends
March 13th
Pledge Packets returned to classroom teacher (NO MONEY)
March 16th
Students take the test
March 18
Packet goes home with test and pledges are collected
April 1st
Money is returned to school by 12:00 in order to be eligible for the top 3 prizes
April 13th
