Senior End-of-Year Information

Dear Parents/Guardians of Graduating Seniors,
This is an exciting and extremely busy time as we approach the final weeks before graduation. This packet has been put together to help you and your graduating senior plan and prepare for all the many graduation-related activities to come for the class of 2025. Attached is a calendar, which I hope will help you schedule and make arrangements for family events this coming month.
Included is also a flier on the Senior Banquet, which will be held on Friday, May 23rd, at The Stone House & Co. This is a special night where students along with their parents/guardians get to celebrate their accomplishments. Students are limited to 2 guests per student. Recipients of local scholarships will be announced during the banquet as well. Payment and RSVP must be made by Friday, May 9th if you plan to attend this event. The cost per parent/guardian is $35, no charge to our senior students. Payment and RSVP can be made to the counseling office. ONLY checks, made out to Buhl High School, or EXACT cash payments are accepted. Reservations will not be made if payment has not been received. It is a business casual event. If financial assistance is needed, please contact the counseling office as soon as possible.
Please turn in ALL outside scholarship awards (even those your student does not intend to accept), as well as any military offerings, to the counseling office so that they can be printed in the graduation program. These are due by Friday, May 16th.
We will be doing the Senior Walk Through at the elementary and middle school the morning of Tuesday, May 27th. Seniors will need to meet in the BHS cafeteria in full graduation attire (graduation clothes, caps, cords, and gowns) at 7:45 am. All graduating seniors are required to attend. Immediately following the walk through, the senior parents are hosting a breakfast for the senior class in the BHS cafeteria. After breakfast, graduation rehearsal and professional photos will begin in the BHS gym. There will be no time to leave, so please help your senior be prepared.
In this packet, you will find a letter from your 2025 Un-party organizers that also includes liability forms for your student to attend the Un-party. Both are due by Friday, May 2nd. If you have any questions about the Un-party, please direct those questions to the Senior Class of 2025 Un-party Committee: Crystal Ray at 208-316-1693, April Jaynes at 208-731-1712, and Jennie Ridley at 208-308-8056.
Lastly, graduating from high school is a formal event which comes only once in a lifetime. For this reason, I have included this year’s graduation guidelines and agreement. Take a moment to review these items as you prepare for this special time. Please sign and return it to the counseling office by Friday, May 16th.
I am so proud of the Class of 2025 and can’t wait to celebrate their achievements and watch them make their mark on the world. Congratulations and best wishes to each of you!
