Dear Popplewell Elementary Families and Buhl Community,
Welcome back to all of our returning families, and a very warm welcome to our new families entering Popplewell Elementary for the first time. This year in the Buhl School District we have adopted a new vision statement, a new mission statement, and a new motto. We are excited to take on new adventures centering on our Vision Statement, Mission Statement, and our School Motto!
Vision Statement:
In partnership with parents and the Buhl Community, we will strive to provide all students with a quality education, which includes the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become responsible and contributing citizens of our changing world.
School Motto:
We are Prepared
We are Respectful
We have Integrity
We are Determined
We strive for Excellence
We have Tribe Pride

Every time anyone visits the school it is mandatory to check in with the front office. Do not go directly to your child’s room throughout the day.
Please watch for information from your child’s teacher by checking backpacks, emails or our PowerSchool alert system throughout the year.
Thank you for your commitment to serving Popplewell Elementary students always!

A NOTE FROM THE KITCHEN
Provision 2 Breakfast
Provision 2 Breakfast will be served at Popplewell Elementary and Buhl Middle Schools. What does this mean, all enrolled students will have the opportunity to participate in the breakfast program for free.
Buhl High School and Wakapa Academy will continue to serve free breakfast to their enrolled students
Due to our community’s improved economic conditions, the COMMUNITY ELIGIBILITY PROGRAM is no longer a viable option for the Buhl School District. Parents, please make sure that you fill out your applications for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program to assure your student's lunch needs are met. Please make sure that your contact information is current to receive notices concerning lunch balances. You can find that charge limit policy on our district website. If you need further assistance please feel free to call Michelle Shaddy at 208-543-6448
