Letter to Parents | 8/19/20

We apologize for having to cancel school today. We were first notified of the power outage at about 5:00 am this morning. We waited as long as we thought reasonable in hopes of having powered restored in time to conduct school as scheduled. That did not

happen.


We understand the disappointment, especially for our Popplewell students who were looking forward to their first day of school. We understand that anytime we have to adjust or change the schedule, that creates a burden on families.


Because we are using a modified schedule to begin the school year, we will use the

Distance Learning Day scheduled for Friday as a regular day of school.


Group A students will attend school tomorrow, Thursday, August 20th and Group B students will attend school on Friday, August 21st .


We apologize for the inconvenience.
