New Spectator Guidelines | Jan. 2021

Dear BSD Community,

New Buhl High School Spectator Guidelines effective January 26, 2021

The Idaho State Board of Education has released new guidelines approved by Governor Little for spectators at high school and middle school winter sporting events. The Buhl Board of Trustees has adopted those guidelines which go into effect immediately.

Those guidelines allow a school to permit up to 40% of a gym’s capacity for spectators or 4 tickets per participant, whichever is larger. The high school administration has determined that 40% of its gym capacity will allow more spectators for the remaining girls and boys basketball games and the wrestling tri-match on February 11th.

Due to the potential large crowd anticipated for the boy's basketball game versus Filer on February 2, a ticketing system may be employed for this event. Spectators who are not staying for the following game should leave the facility on the south end of the gym. Those who are staying should continue to stay seated, socially distance, and wear their masks.

BHS students are allowed to attend the HOME games as spectators, but may not attend away games. Please remember that MASKS are REQUIRED at all times! Please try to socially distance between non-family groups when possible.

Due to limited seating, the Buhl Middle School games will remain with the 2 fans per athlete.

Thank you.
