STEM Scholarship for Idaho Senior Girls
The Idaho Education Technology Association, through the Women in Technology Group, is pleased to announce the inaugural opportunity for Girls who are college bound to apply for a scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to an individual high school female senior that is entering into a college program in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
As our students are thinking forward toward their careers it’s important to consider STEM Careers. Employees in STEM use their knowledge of science, technology, engineering and / or math to learn more and understand how the world works and to solve problems. Learning logic, collaboration, problem solving and creativity provides a foundation for virtually any career. STEM is the art of blending human ideas and digital tools. STEM employees work in so many different areas: writing apps for phones, curing diseases, creating animated movies, working on social media, building robots that explore other planets and so much more.
STEM Careers will be in demand in the future and will create the economy of tomorrow.
