Dear Buhl School District Students, Staff, Parents and Residents,
On behalf of the Buhl Joint School District, I am pleased to welcome our students, their families, our staff and the community to the 2022-2023 school year. I hope you had an enjoyable and safe summer break. First and foremost, I am honored and deeply privileged to be serving as Superintendent for the Buhl School District. All of our district staff are looking forward to the beginning of an outstanding school year!
As we start the year I hope the changes we made with our online student registration process were helpful. Many of you may have already noticed the new playground equipment at Popplewell elementary. We are very excited about that! Another addition within our district this year was the hiring of a Curriculum Director. As we continue our efforts to align curriculums to what is written, taught and tested within our entire district we accomplish our mission to “Learn With Purpose!”
I deeply believe in a quality and comprehensive education for all students. Buhl is known for the positive and healthy relationships between staff and students. Thank you for entrusting all of our dedicated staff with the education of the wonderful young people of our community.
My mission as your Superintendent is also my passion and is the reason I do what I do. That is, to maintain and grow a rigorous teaching and learning environment that provides every student with a sense of belonging while helping students to grow intellectually, emotionally and socially. It is critical to every student's success that they graduate from high school with the habits of mind and skills necessary to pursue and achieve their goals and dreams.
