Dear District Families and Community Members,
Welcome to the start of a brand-new school year! We are thrilled to welcome our students, parents, and staff back for another fantastic year of learning, growth, and community.
As we settle into the new school year, please take a moment to review a few important updates and reminders:
Transportation Information
Bus Application: Families who need transportation services for their student should complete the district’s bus application.
My Ride K-12 App: Help make your student’s commute easier by downloading the My Ride K-12 app. The app allows families to view bus routes and schedules and receive real-time transportation updates. Detailed instructions for downloading and setting up the app are available through the link above.
School Lunch Applications & Fee Payment Information
Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application: We encourage all families to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application. Completing the application helps ensure students have access to nutritious meals and helps our district access important funding and resources.
Paying School & Meal Fees: School and meal fees can be paid conveniently online. Use the link above to view instructions for paying fees online.
Staffing Update
Thanks to higher-than-anticipated enrollment this year, we are excited to welcome a fourth 5th-grade teacher, Mrs. Apgood, to our team! Adding this position will allow us to maintain manageable class sizes and provide even more support for our students and their learning needs.
Grounds & Facilities Update
Our maintenance and grounds crews have been hard at work preparing our campuses for the new school year.
Popplewell Elementary: The water pump at Popplewell has been successfully replaced. With irrigation back up and running, you should begin to see the grass green up nicely over the next few weeks.
Buhl Middle School: Repairs to the back lawn area at BMS are currently underway. These repairs will be covered by Idaho Power.
Activity Cards Available
Show your school spirit and support our student-athletes and performers! Parents and community members who would like to purchase an Activity Card for home athletic and activity events can stop by the Buhl High School main office to purchase one. Activity Cards will also be available soon through our brand-new E-Store! Keep an eye out for more information and the opportunity to purchase yours online.
