Dear Wakapa Students, Parents, and Stakeholders:
Buhl School District is committed to the ongoing success of Wakapa Academy. The 2023-24 district budget, approved by the school board last month, fully funds Wakapa Academy for the upcoming school year. However, because of the recent resignations of two staff members, the district has begun the search for qualified applicants to fill these key positions. Yesterday, as required by policy, we opened the positions for internal applicants and, if needed, we will broaden our search for candidates from outside the district. It is our goal to support our students in every way possible on their paths to success. We wish our former employees the best in their future endeavors.
