Junior Students and Parents,
The SAT will be held at Buhl High School Wednesday, April 10th. The test will begin at 8:05 AM sharp. Students will begin checking in at 7:55 AM. It is imperative that students are present and on time. Room assignments will be posted the day before and the day of the test. Breaks, snacks, water, and #2 wood pencils will be provided. Bring a calculator. If you do not have one, one will be provided for you. Please bring a book to read after you are finished testing.
The SAT is digital this year. You will be testing on your school-issued Chromebook. Make sure it is FULLY charged for the test.
Please leave at home, in your locker, car, or elsewhere:
All phones
All smart watches (any Fitbit, Apple Watch, etc…)
Anything that makes noise
All other personal belongings (backpacks, etc…)
I encourage you to do the practice test in the Bluebook app on your Chromebook. Your login information is on the sign-in ticket you received in the Digital Readiness Check. If you lose this information, stop by the counseling center for a new sign-in ticket. Be sure to get plenty of sleep the night before and to have a good breakfast the morning of the test. Good luck!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at jenna.dekruyf@buhlschools.org or 208-543-8262 ext 205.
Sincerely,
Jenna DeKruyf, LMSW
