Dear Parents/Guardians, Monday and Tuesday we have parent teacher conferences in our district. One of our district goals this year is implementing Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) district wide. PLCs set up a system of collaboration amongst teachers focusing on student success and improving instruction. As part of this process, our teachers have been setting goals with each student in Math and English Language Arts. We want students to be active participants in their education. At parent teacher conferences, teachers will be reviewing these goals with you and your student. This is an opportunity to see where your child is at and where they need to be for the year. Your student will NOT receive their school-issued Chromebook if the Chromebook fee has not been paid for the 2024-2025 school year. If your student is planning to play sports, the Pay to Participate Fee MUST be paid, and your student is REQUIRED to purchase an Activity Card. At the high school, an Activity Card is REQUIRED if enrolled in band, choir or drama. At the middle school, an Activity Card is REQUIRED if enrolled in band or choir. Activity Cards get students into their school's home sports games for free. (excluding district/state tournament games) You can now easily pay fees through your PowerSchool parent portal. Log in to your PowerSchool parent portal ( buhl.powerschool.com ) from a desktop computer, laptop, or a phone browser. (Not the App) Click "Balance" Click the "Make A Payment" button and you will be directed to our new Webstore Add the fees you need to pay to your cart and checkout Looking for adult, married couple, elementary, or senior activity cards? You can find those on our Webstore as well! Go to Browse and choose 2024-25 Season Passes. Payments can also be made at your student's school from 8am to 4pm, Tuesday - Friday. Questions? Due to technical difficulties from Traversa, the routing software and GPS has been affected.  Everyone is working diligently to get it operating correctly as quick as possible.  Until then, parents who follow the App. May notice some differences from before such as the route the bus is following or different in times.  All drivers that this has affected will be following the original paper route copy from the startup of this school year for today.  We will be adding the students that registered late and will be calling parents with any new stop time changes tomorrow and over the weekend.  Any parent with questions or concerns, please contact Mid-Columbia Bus Co. at 208-733-8003.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Parents, students and staff- Welcome Back! I love this time of year, the halls have been waxed, classrooms are freshly decorated and everyone is full of excitement and promise for the new year. We look forward to working together to make our district one we can all be proud of. I am grateful to be part of this district and community. Dear Parents/Guardians, Online registration is now open for the 2024-25 school year! Information and instructions are listed below. Prefer to register your student in person? Visit the links below for more information. Popplewell Elementary Buhl Middle School Buhl High School / Wakapa Online Registration for Returning Students If your student was enrolled in Buhl School District last year and is a returning student, simply log into your parent portal and complete your enrollment forms using the instructions below. In the PowerSchool App go to "More" and choose "Forms". In the parent portal via an internet browser, go to buhl.powerschool.com/public and choose "Forms" from the menu on the left. Having trouble logging in? If you have forgotten your username or password, click the blue "Forgot Username or Password?" link on the login page and check your email. Don't forget to check your spam folder if you don't receive an email! If you still have trouble, call your student's school for assistance or email jbusmann@buhlschools.org  for a username reminder or password reset. What if I have NEVER created a parent portal account before? Make sure you have never before created a parent portal account before. Even if it was for another student. Call your student's school to obtain the Access ID and Access Password needed to create your account. Follow the instructions here for English or here for Spanish to create your account.
